Family Giving
What is Family Giving?
Family Investment:
Family Giving is a way for parents and adult Girl Scouts to tangibly express their belief in the value of Girl Scouting through their financial support to their local Girl Scout Council. The $10 registration fee does not stay within the Council, it goes to National Headquarters. Family Giving gives families the opportunity to support the services and facilities within our local Council.
Internal Support/Adult Giving:
Family Giving is a donation from adults or by families. It is not a girl fundraising activity or money earning opportunity. All families need to be given the opportunity to donate to our Council. It is the role of the Family Giving Coordinator to train Girl Scout Leaders about Family Giving and the importance of asking their families to participate.
Goal for the Council:
Each VISTA/ Service Unit is asked to set a goal for Service Area donations for Family Giving. Work with your Service Team to set this goal. VISTA/Service Unit's working in partnership with the Council can make this goal a reality.

Has your Girl Scout Troop attended any Program Guide events?
Have you visited our website at www.girlscoutscrc.org to see what's happening or use the many resources offered there?
If you can answer "yes" to any of the above questions, you have benefited from Family Giving!
