Volunteer Policies

Below you will find the interim Volunteer Policies for Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington. As volunteers, your voices and opinions are valuable and critical to the success of our overarching mission. For this reason we ask that you read the Policies and their corresponding cover letter outlining how you may contribute feedback and input. Among the various ways outlined in the cover letter, the feedback form below is one great way to make your voice heard. Thank you for your contributions, and please don't hesistate to contact your local service center with questions.

All members of Girl Scouts of the USA are also responsible for the Policies in the Blue Book of Basic Documents (Leader’s Digest), and for the recommended guidelines outlined in Safety-Wise. These two documents are published by Girl Scouts of the USA and are used throughout the national organization.

In addition, all federal, state and local laws must be followed. In some cases, Policies are more strict than the law.
